laurel g asked:

Our city has decided to begin to instruct each of a security system, a fee of $ 20 permits. Of course, we pay and the system being introduced? for a comparison? a local, and after s pay that money for local compa? each month to make it work. I can not see c? As this help? to keep crime down here. People have to apply for a permit, if a business or residence, get approved, and then get to pay the company? Local to each month as well? N. The city seems to help with this crime. ? Qu? you think of this? ? Already, there are charges for alams costly false …….. up to $ 400 for the alarm that goes off when no one is? at home (of course) to set it off! Dir? To false alarms is? N really well covered. I 'VE ten? M to my system? S to ten years of me and this is just not reasonable.

Can you cancel a APX Security Contract?

Feel Ripped Off asked:

Two months ago my wife duped into making a security system installed by APX is a home seller. She could not share the fine print of me and u now that charges have begun to appear discovers that she signed up for a contract of five years of supervision with APX at $ 45 per month. There are a reputable local company that will provide the same service for $ 20 per month. Naturally I would like to cancel my service with APX but when I came into contact with them to cancel the contract saying that I can not be canceled without payment of the entire 60 months of monitoring (less the two months we have sent the account) that is over $ 2600 . The only other option is to get someone else I know to take control our contract and agreeing to take an APX alarm installed in your home. Me Fuming about this, anyone know if there is a legal way out of this type of contract without spending a fortune in attorney fees? Please learn from our mistakes and do not remember doing business with solutions for the security of APX.

Breaking Monitronics agreement?

howcrazy asked:

About a year ago we signed up for an alert system for the safety of the point is obviously dealer for Monitronics. Now pay $ 150 sign up fee for most of us have been paying almost $ 40/month for a year now. We fought for our home phone service it is not used and it was pointless. Now the alarm does not work without the phone home and we want out of this contract for 3 years. If we say we 're moving (in the U.S.) will put a system into our new home for free … so what more can I say leave him and did not have to pay someone? No fee nonsense? Yes, I did not know you had to have phone service … you'd think at $ 40 per month would pay what I'm paying the supervision of my house. The individual who set up the cable it works … it does not.

What does one free move mean to you?

status quo asked:

So I installed an alarm in my home, and when it was reports that will be installed? To free movement. Le? because this may? once to move within my contract at no cost to move the wireless system in my new home. Find m? S forward compatibility? To the supervision? N install? only a new system and to force me? to renew my contract for three years. The reason? N I gave was that left the old system at home as? that new residents are m? s likely to renew a contract with them. That means any additional? s a new system and sign another contract for 14 additional months, or pay the remainder of the twentieth? s and goes months without an alarm.
